It may be a boots only summer, but adidas and Alessia Russo are taking it to the next level with 'Golden Boots only summer'. Celebrating placing joint first in the WSL Golden Boot race, the Three Stripes have gifted Russo with a custom pair of shining gold Predators.

Any one who has any prescence on social media would've seen that is has officially been declared 'boots only summer', and no they don't mean UGG boots. Everyone is casually wearing their favourite football boots paired with everyday garms, taking the studs from the pitch to the pavement. Well, adidas and their star girl Alessia Russo are taking it to the next level – declaring 'Golden Boots only summer'.

Adi have gifted Russo with a custom pair of golden Predator 25's, paying tribute to her incredible season with Arsenal which led to recently winning the Women's Super League Golden Boot (joint top with Man City star Bunny Shaw). It was only right that the Lioness then hopped on to socials to join in with the trend, donning her bespoke boots out in the streets of London.

Now, immediately when you glance at a bespoke golden Predator, you have to think of Zizou and those incredible Precision's that were gifted to him by adi for winning FIFA World Player of the Year. But this year thre Three stripes are changing the narrative, focusing on golden girl Alessia bagging goals in the WSL for fun. With the league campaign officially finished, all eyes move onto the Women's Champions League Final and the Euros in the summer, where Russo will be looking to pick up silverware in her hands to match the gold on her feet.
